Content is the New Currency

On October 6th 2022, I had the pleasure of attending Singleton and Partners’ Company Retreat alongside fellow Cleveland business owners and content creators at their newly launched workspace, S&P Work Lab. 

The event began with conversations over coffee and breakfast which I found to be enjoyable because of the way the space naturally fosters connections and creative conversations among the guests. I was thrilled to get a studio tour by Renee Singleton, President and CEO of Singleton & Partners. It’s obvious that the S&P Work Lab has succeeded in giving space for content creators to innovate and collaborate.

The incredible people I met further contributed to how remarkable this experience was. One of them is Chris Webb, a filmmaker, artist, and entrepreneur who moderated the panel discussion during the event. I also got to meet the guest panelists, including Stefan Johnson (a voice actor with over 7 million TikTok followers), Swoope (a talent agent for Hollywood A-listers), and of course, my good friend Aimon Ali (a Cleveland based fashion influencer and the founder of Fashion Talks), who brought me along as her guest

Content tells your story

In keeping with S&P’s philosophy, the major emphasis was on highlighting how “content tells your story and is more than just information.” The panelists discussed how leading social networking sites like LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram help businesses succeed as well as how important content creation is for entrepreneurs who want to share their stories with the world.

All of our content production efforts have yielded satisfying results for both our clients and the company. Our clients find value in our content, which is fulfilling for  MGS. 

As a female minority business owner, I believe in mentoring and sharing my knowledge with other aspiring creative entrepreneurs.
