Last year was a rollercoaster of events for MGS. We began the year with a late Christmas celebration and concluded it with another one. Over the course of the year, MGS created a new set of core memories. Here are few of our highlights last year:
Outings
During the midyear, in the wake of the intense preparations surrounding our grand opening, the need for relaxation became evident. What better way to achieve this than by setting sail and exploring the diverse islands of Mactan? Bringing our team ashore was an investment in our well-being and cohesiveness of our team.
MGS’ new office space
AIA Women’s Leadership Summit
Empowering and inspiring, the Women’s Leadership Summit provided a platform for insightful discussions, mentorship, and the celebration of female leadership. The event ignited conversations that transcended gender, fostering an inclusive and supportive professional environment.
Zurich Trip
The excitement didn’t stop there, our CEO, Aya Shlachter, went to Zurich and encountered one of the world’s tennis legends—Roger Federer. She got to visit Roger’s HQ on his shoe brand, On Running.
AIA Australian Architecture Summit
The Australian Architecture Summit serves as a gallery for exchanging ideas and collaborations. Attendees were a lineup of Australia’s influential speakers who have shaped iconic structures to innovators pushing the boundaries of design.
To 2024 and beyond
As the year drew to a close, MGS gathered its team for a Christmas Party that was nothing short of magical. Joyous laughter and reflections on a year of achievements created an atmosphere of celebration and gratitude, leaving the team recharged for the adventures that lie ahead.
As we embark on a new chapter this year, it’s essential to reflect on the journey we’ve traversed. In retrospect, each hurdle became an opportunity for perseverance, while each accomplishment served as proof of our shared strength and grit.
