A Day of Sun, Sand & Song: MGS Global Group’s Summer Outing at Vista Mar

This year, MGS Global Group took a well-deserved break from the hustle of daily operations to bask in the sun and create lasting memories at our annual summer outing. On August 15, 2025, we traded our desks for sandy shores and ocean breezes at the stunning Vista Mar Beach Resort in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. What followed was laughter, sunshine, and moments that reminded us why togetherness outside work matters just as much as inside.
Morning Vibes & Beach Beginnings
We arrived at the resort with excitement in the air, ready to soak in the tropical paradise. While the resort crew set up tables, a few of us couldn’t resist a quick volleyball match. Others were drawn straight to the water, diving into the waves, or just kicking off shoes and walking along the shore. The mix of active and chill energy set the tone for the rest of the day.
Midday: Food, Frolic & Fun
By noon, hunger led us to lunch, drawing everyone together for a hearty meal filled with laughter and shared stories. After that, it was all about doing what made us happiest. Some took to the ocean, some splashed in the pool. Others strummed guitars and sang, letting the afternoon drift away in music and camaraderie. Badminton and volleyball courts got busy, laughter echoing, friendly rivalry in every serve and volley.
Sunset & Reflections
As the afternoon mellowed, everyone gravitated toward the pool once again, splashing, swimming, simply enjoying being together. The golden hour at Vista Mar offered its show: waves glowing under the setting sun, warm hues painting the sky. We wrapped up, tired in the best way possible, hearts full, faces sun-kissed, and carrying with us the warmth of the day and the strengthened connections that make our team so special.
Why It Mattered
Days like this are about much more than fun. They recharge us, forge new stories, and strengthen connections. When we let go of deadlines for a little while and let joy take over, we come back renewed. Because at MGS, we believe the bonds we build outside the workplace inspire the creativity, trust, and collaboration that fuel our success inside it.
